Directions: Put silicone mat on cookie sheet if desired (I have also used parchment paper before). Use a piping bag or a ziploc bag and fill half way with yogurt. Pip desired size onto cookie sheet. Put in freezer until frozen (about 30 minutes or so). Store in freezer in air tight container.

Yummy yogurt dots |
I am always trying to think of great healthy snacks for my family, particularly Tova. She is more of a 6 small meals a day kinda girl than 3 normal meals. So, for those snack attacks I want her to eat stuff that is good for her and not junk food. She is awesome that she pretty much tries anything, but she is a moody eater. One thing that she might not get enough of one week she turns around and acts like it is the worst thing in the world the following week. Having a variety of things on hand is a must for her.
When I came across these yogurt dots on Pinterest I wanted to hit myself on the head, because I can't believe I didn't think about this. I immediately made them and gave Tova some. Tova is not a yogurt eater. I have been trying to get her to eat yogurt since she was a baby but no luck. She doesn't like it, but yogurt has so many healthy benefits that she should have. When I gave her these dots she loved them. She asked for more and more. I knew I had a winner when she kept saying, "Sooo good mommy. Soooo good. Yummy ice cream."
First snack experiment was a success and ridiculously easy. I am glad I finally found a way for her to eat yogurt. One down, 2 more to go!
